I've been asked this by a few people recently "what's the real estate market like during this Covid -19 pandemic?"
The honest answer is activity is definitely a lot slower than it would normally be for this time of year.
But, there are people in the market looking for homes to buy and there are people in the market wanting to sell.
People will always need a roof over their heads and there are people that are in a position where they must buy or they must sell.
The technology that I use to market homes has proven to be extremely valuable during this time. Full 3-D virtual walk through tours complete with detailed floor plan drawings provides buyers the ability to view a property from home with almost as much detail as seeing it in person. It also provides me with the ability to continue to market a property to the general public and reduce "looky loo's" & tire kickers to almost zero.
Now, I do not recommend buying a home without seeing it in person. But we can do "virtual viewings" and narrow that search right down to your very favorite 1 or 2. And for home sellers, we can properly market your home and do it in a way that greatly reduces physical traffic through your home.
So, if you are in a position right now where you need to sell your home or you need to buy a home, please give me a call so that we can discuss how we can "safely" do that in todays climate.
Fingers crossed that everything returns to normal real soon. Take care, stay healthy and stay home!
